Our communications play a critical role in raising awareness of this horrific human rights abuse, uplifting the stories of those with lived experience, and amplifying why investing in prevention is the future.
Are you passionate about human rights as well as social media? Combine the two. We are seeking a creative Tik-Tok Content intern to join us for 3 months to develop our brand profile on the channel.
In this role, you will develop content to raise awareness of human trafficking, amplify our prevention-focused mission, and support fundraising initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact through social media and to gain valuable experience in digital marketing and non-profit work.
This role will help us improve our campaigns that reach vulnerable people via social media platforms, as well as leverage TikTok to expand our donor audience and raise funds for our charity to scale our impact.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with members of the team to create compelling content to raise awareness on modern slavery and human trafficking (MSHT) and build a follower base
- Create content that demonstrates why ‘prevention’ is the future through effective storytelling
- Collaborate with our Prevention Team to explore our social media-based safety campaigns and how we can better leverage the platform to scale impact
- Work with our Fundraising Team to launch an individual giving campaign on TikTok, accessing a new donor audience
- Pro-actively suggest and lead on new initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about human rights and anti-trafficking, with an understanding of how MSHT impacts vulnerable communities
- Familiar with TikTok content creation and a knowledge of social media marketing
- Creative and proactive, with an aptitude for storytelling
