Summary

We are seeking 6 dedicated volunteers to assist in the data preparation process for a machine learning project aimed at combating human trafficking and modern slavery. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of data science and machine learning while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Interpretation: Reading sensitive data and comprehending the context to ensure accurate understanding.
  • Data Entry: Accurately filling data into Excel sheets while maintaining high quality standards in a given format.
  • Data Validation: Ensuring consistency and accuracy by validating the entered data.
  • Data Classification: Properly classifying and organizing data into specified columns.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and comprehend English articles
  • Skills in data entry and organization in Excel
  • Attention to detail to review and verify content
  • Proficiency in the relevant languages to ensure content accuracy
  • Good to Have: Familiarity with data preparation, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and Natural Language Classification (NLC) concepts to verify correct classification
